Speaking via her instagram account, outgoing Doctor Who Exceutive Producer, Jane Tranter has confirmed in a post that the 15th Doctor's TARDIS set has been dismantled.

Tranter posted a picture of herself with colleagues on 27th September 2026, stating:

"final goodbye to the Tardis from some of the team who designed + built it, on the eve of having to take it down…"

The set made its debut in the 2022 specials featuring David Tennant as he returned to the role as the 14th Doctor. The set lasted through both seasons of Ncuti Gatwa's tenure as the 15th Doctor.

This marks the end of the Bad Wolf era of Doctor Who, as we await news of the new production company who will be taking over the running of the show.
